This sounds like a great opportunity for everyone determined to eat locally to put their heads together and make a difference. The more I inquire about locally raised pastured meats the more I realize that a market there is out here for these products. Why hasn't somebody jumped on this yet? I'm new out here, and this is a serious question, but is grass really hard to grow out here? Is farm land very expensive to acquire? Is it because of the water shortage? Let's all start a farm!

Thanks for letting everyone know about this meeting. I've marked it on my calendar and am hoping to get to it.
