Bread

San Diego County does not produce any wheat or other grains used in bread making. Nevertheless, we have many local bakeries that make good, wholesome breads (some even organic) from ingredients grown elsewhere. Here's a list to get you started:

Going over your list and I saw that you mention Bread on Market only selling wholesale. I go to their location downtown (730 Market Street) and can pick up a loaf Mon-Fri. They have nice lunch items as well :)

Belen Artisan Bakery in Escondido. They sell at their bakery and at Major Market in Escondido as well as the Escondido and Rancho Bernardo Farmer's Markets.
